Communication/BMS

SuperWISE channels operational data to and from BMS via Modbus TCP or BACnet IP. This data might be ‘holiday mode’, ‘summer night cooling’ or information from a hotel booking system. A number of sensor data can also be transmitted to and from the BMS system via SuperWISE.

BACnet IP

SuperWISE comes with BACnet Building Controller (B-BC) and BACnet Gateway (B-GW) ready-implemented, and uses BACnet protocol revision 14. Descriptions of all the options available via BACnet in SuperWISE are provided in the PICS document (protocol implementation conformance statement).

Modbus TCP

For each unique project, a project-specific list can be generated with interchangeable information in the SuperWISE interface. This provides a comprehensive picture of all the data available in the WISE system, and which information the WISE system can receive and process from a BMS (building management system).

More information about how to connect the WISE system to a BMS is available in the project planning guide for electrics and controls.
