VAR

The VAR combination diffuser provides space‑saving and effective ventilation by integrating supply and extract air in a single compact product. The diffuser face, visible in the room, features a supply and extract air opening in either identical or different designs.

The diffuser face connects to an internally separated plenum box, which is configured according to the required size and air flow.

This compact diffuser is particularly suitable for installations where only a single wall or ceiling opening is available due to construction or installation constraints, with wallmounted use being especially common.

VAR is available with a horizontal (H) or vertical (V) separation between the supply- and extract air designs.

The air diffuser is designed to reliably prevent shortcircuiting between the supply and extract air.

Depending on requirements, the supply air can be used to achieve a mixed flow or a layered flow with displacement like supply.

Under appropriate conditions, the extract air opening can also function as an overflow grille, even without a direct duct connection.

• Made of galvanised steel.
• Standard colour:
  • RAL 9003, signal white, gloss 70
• Alternative standard colours:
  • RAL 9010, pure white, gloss 70
  • RAL 9006, white aluminium, gloss 70
  • RAL 9005, jet black, gloss 70
  • RAL 7035, light grey, gloss 70

Air deflectors

• Made of steel, aluminium or plastic depending on the design.

Plenum box

• Made of galvanised steel.
• Standard colour:
  • Non-painted.
• With thermal insulation.

• Other colours available on request.

Combined supply- and extract air diffuser VAR with the following features:

• Available with a horizontal or vertical separation between the supply- and extract air designs.
• Plenum box with circular duct connections, supplied with a perforated commissioning damper in the spigot actuated by pull cable.
• Diffuser face made of galvanised steel, painted in white (RAL 9003).
• Plenum box is available with integrated sound attenuation.
• Dimensions configured according to the required size and air flow.
