The A11-S radiant ceiling sail is a climate ceiling system with room air flowing around it. It offers very high heating and cooling capacity. If full-surface insulation is omitted, the rear side of the sail can also contribute to heat transfer and thereby support cooling capacity.
The A11 activation is based on a specially developed construction. Copper pipe and aluminium heat-conducting rails are welded together using laser technology. The registers are bonded to the metal panels with a special adhesive under high pressure. This construction supports good heat transfer between the register and the ceiling panel. The bonding technology also allows aluminium panels to be activated, which can provide higher thermal capacity depending on the design.
Optional capacity boost: A11-S + Convector Wings
Capacity can be increased by using the Convector Wings developed and patented by Barcol-Air. These are matt-black anodised aluminium profiles with slotted wings raised on both sides. The profiles are clipped onto the straight sections of the pipe meander. This increases the heat-transfer surface and raises the thermal capacity.
