Replacement units for old air handling units

Renovation units designed to replace old ventilation units. Easy and quick to install as they fit directly in the place and duct connections of the old units such as ILTO or BACHO Minimaster.

Old units have typically a lower heat efficiency rate around 50% and energy consumining AC fans. Replacement units have energy-efficient EC fans and can recover over 80% or thermal energy. Therefore a new replacement unit can save up to thousands of kWh's of heating energy per year.

A modern ventilation unit can achieve even greater savings with built-in demand control. Intelligent sensors measure indoor air quality (RH,CO2,VOC, C) and automatically adjust ventilation to the optimal level when needed.

Upgrade kit for old GOLD air handling units

Swegon offers a spare part solution that updates older GOLD units to today's controls and functionality. Also, the complete fan inserts can be changed to modern fans with EC motors. This extends the service life of the unit, while minimising the environmental impact. 

The update is offered as a refurb kit and is managed on-site. The installation is quick and only marginally disrupts day-to-day operations, avoiding major interventions in the building.
