Heat Pumps bring energy savings
The EU – and the world, for that matter – is facing a huge challenge from climate change. One of the main emission culprits in heating systems is the traditional boiler, which in most cases runs on fossil energy sources like gas or oil. There is increased pressure to find alternative solutions and migrate to more sustainable heating systems, both in the EU and elsewhere. For example, both the UK and Australia will ban the installation of appliances using primary energy sources from 2025.
Using a temperature boosting heat pump instead is a good way to reduce emissions and carbon footprint.Read more
A natural choice
Swegon is investing heavily in developing propane-based solutions. We are both developing products and supporting the industry transition. In order to facilitate the adoption of the technology in the market, we are working on e-learning training programs and developing guidelines for the safe use of propane as a refrigerant.
Propane is without any a doubt a key part of the green transition. It is ozone layer safe, has negligible impact on global warming, and has excellent thermodynamic properties.Read our propane blog
