ABC-VHS

ABC-VHS is an exhaust/outdoor air roof hood for residential use.

The exhaust/outdoor air part is protected under the roof hood's cover and equipped with a small animal-proof wire mesh grille. The top is mounted plumb. Adjustable in positions between 11-40°. Standard is for 2-cup concrete pans. The pipe is insulated with 30 mm stone wool in the hood. The hood is delivered complete with lower fittings.

Usually manufactured in patented color-coated steel and follows the standard colors of construction sheet metal, but is also available in other materials.

For colors in addition to the standard colors of the colored steel, wet paint or powder coating is added.

Things to consider when choosing and placing a roof hood:

• Correctly dimensioned flow
• Correct height location (snow depth)
• Wind direction (short circuit)
• Strive for sheltered location (wind impact)
• If storm protection is needed, consider roof loops
• Be aware of ambient noise
• Material selection

When installing, first check that the roof hood has no visible external damage. Ensure that the roof hood is correctly screwed in according to the assembly instructions and consider any need for storm protection. It´s recommended to carry out an annual inspection to detect any damage and the need for cleaning of e.g. debris, leaves in inlet and outlet parts, especially drainage holes.
