Communication

Connected and in control

With built-in intelligence GOLD offers seamless connectivity to Building Management Systems, secure cloud connection and remote access from any device.

At the unit

• Use the IQnavigator hand-held terminal
• Connect your computer, tablet or smartphone via the secure Wi-Fi access point and access the internal webpage to manage GOLD just like on the hand-held terminal. Enjoy complete control and monitoring.

From a distance/remote

• Communication with building management systems can be established via Ethernet or EIA 485 interfaces.Supports Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, Metasys N2, Exoline and BACnet IP out of the box. Also Cloud APIs are available.
• INSIDE Connect router offers access the GOLD internal webpage where you can enjoy complete control, monitoring and visualisation identical to the hand-held terminal.
• Use INSIDE Connect router or Ethernet connection to connect effortlessly and securely to the cloud. All GOLD units are INSIDE Ready, enabling free access to the INSIDE Portal. Monitor key parameters, track alarms and activate extra services to optimise efficiency.

Full cyber security
GOLD units are certified according to the extended CE marking according to the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) for wireless products. When using the internal webpage unique passwords are required. To connect a product to Swegon INSIDE Cloud, a secure internet connection and a valid certificate for each unit is required to approve them to share data with INSIDE Cloud, in addition to a certain hardware and software version.

Customisable reporting
Reports are generated via the hand-held terminal, INSIDE Portal or web interface, and can be tailored to your needs for level of detail and time intervals. If connected to Swegon INSIDE, you can also forward data to your building management system.

Continuous filter monitoring: Integrated pressure sensors track filter condition in real time, alerting you when filters need attention. Automatic calibration ensures accurate readings after filter changes.

Smart alarm management and instant notifications for deviations related to temperature, airflow, or component status. Alarms are clearly displayed in the HMI, web page or INSIDE Portal and can be forwarded to your email or building management system.

Comprehensive logging & diagnostics of key parameters such as operating status, energy use and filter pressures, all visualised in the hand-held terminal or web interface. Historical data and trends help you identify issues early and plan maintenance.

Service period tracking: Set service intervals and receive automatic reminders when it’s time for scheduled maintenance, helping you stay compliant and avoid unexpected downtime.

Predictive insights: Efficiency measurement and component monitoring helps identify and address issues before they affect performance.
