Flow Control for optimized indoor environmental quality
Having the entire airflow available for each product size simplifies project design and future layout changes, as airflows can be adjusted using an positioning lever.
In Variable Air Volume (VAV) and Demand Controlled Ventilation (DCV) systems, this feature helps to maintain high induction throughout the working airflow range. This can increase cooling capacities at lower airflows by up to 40% compared to conventional nozzles.
With Swegon’s integrated control systems – REACT, AWC and WISE – the control mechanism automatically compensates for pressure variations in the duct system, ensuring that the desired airflow is maintained.
Modularity
As buildings and equipment become more energy-efficient, the demand for heating and cooling decreases. However, the need for fresh air is determined by the number of occupants in the building.
The PACIFIC chilled beam addresses these evolving requirements with its modular design.
The capacity module can be tailored to meet specific heating and cooling demands, while the fresh air module can be sized according to the designed number of occupants in the room.
Additionally, the design module can be extended to include a service hatch or supply air and extract air module, providing flexibility in project design. These features not only enhance the indoor environment but also contribute to cost savings and sustainability.
Sustainability
RE:3 is a Swegon concept based on the key principles of circularity: RE:duce, RE:use, and RE:vitalise. The PACIFIC product line has been designed around these principles to help a wide audience make conscious, long-term decisions regarding reduced embodied carbon levels in buildings.

PACIFIC’s modular design allows parts to be easily replaced like the heat exchanger or control equipment, eliminating the need to replace the entire product. This makes it easy to reuse Pacific in new construction projects and refurbishment of existing facilities.

PACIFIC is designed for seamless ceiling integration, offering flexible linear installation in both continuous series and individual units to accommodate a wide range of architectural designs.

Installation in open plenum ceilings
For renovated buildings where open plenum ceilings are desired, PACIFIC allows architects and designers to realize their vision without compromise. With PACIFIC’s Coanda wings, air distribution is optimized, ensuring comfort and preventing drafts in the occupied zone.
Pacific in several colours
Interior designers can be creative with the design, allowing the products to stand out or blend into any indoor environment, at the same time as being aesthetically appealing.
PACIFIC can also be specially ordered in optional colours or relief finish paint.

The product can be integrated in the WISE system as a constant air flow beam with optional control of supply water valves.
