Optimisation functions
At Swegon, we offer advanced standardised optimisation functions for HVAC solutions, designed to maximise energy efficiency and meet diverse sustainability targets. These functions provide precise system control and swift energy management, for instance through airflow optimisation, temperature regulation and pressure adjustment. All with the aim of ensuring optimal performance and reducing energy use.
Damper position optimisation
SuperWISE calculates and adapts the pressure in the duct system, and aim for the lowest possible operating level. This is based on all WISE products' damper positions, and targets minimal pressure losses in the system.
Air temperature optimisation
SuperWISE continuously calculates and adapts the supply air temperature to the room’s heating and cooling requirement, limiting the need for additional heating or cooling.
Parallell control of air handling units
This function is used for controlling multiple GOLD air handling units in the same duct system, this to make them operate as one unit. A user-friendly interface is used for easy monitoring and control.
Intelligent DX temperature control
This system is utilised for optimised temperature control of GOLD and Epsilon Sky chiller/heat pump solutions. It manages multiple heat pumps seamlessly and provides intelligent airflow management.
Optimisation of water temperature
SMART Link+ is an optimisation function for temperature control of solutions with multiple GOLD units and BlueBox chiller/heat pumps. The precise water temperature management and streamlined TCP/IP connections saves operational energy.
Demand control of water temperature
Optimisation of heating and cooling across multiple zones is managed by using the WISE Water functionality. It ensures that the water temperature is adjusted based on room demand which in turn saves energy and enhances comfort.
Sequential control of cooling and heating
This sequential control functionality allows for multiple chiller/heat pumps to be combined and operate interdependent. This allows for an efficient operation based on building demands.
Water flow optimisation
This functionality is called Flowzer and is used for controlling the unit's inverter pumps to continuously adapt the waterflow to the current load inside the building. This increases unit efficiency.
Hydronic optimisation
Hydronic optimisation of multiple cooling/heating units, variable flow control, pumps and additional energy sources are optimised using the Hyzer functionality.
