ReCO2

ReCO2 is a recirculation function which minimizes the inflow of outdoor air and keeps the heated air inside the building. The function is accompanied by CO2/VOC and/or temperature measurement, so it ensures perfect air quality and/or temperature. It is suitable for ventilation systems where recirculated air intermixture is acceptable.

Main functionality

Modulated damper actuators regulate the dampers for the outdoor air and the recirculation section. The unit consumes less energy, as both air flow and air speed will belowered to the necessary minimum. The air quality is continuouslymeasured by a separate air quality sensor or VOC sensor.

Added Value

  • Lower energy consumption

  • Guaranteed air quality and/or temperature

How it works

Lowering the outdoor air and exhaust air flows as well as lowering the speed ofthe extract air enables the unit to consume less power. The air quality of theventilation system is controlled  by a separate air quality sensor, measuring thecarbon dioxide (CO2) or volatile organic compounds (VOC) level in the air. The function can be preset for checking the carbon dioxide content in ppm and/or the air temperature.

ReCO2 – CO2/VOC
The control can be set to regulate only the recirculation and outdoor airdampers, or at the same time increase the airflow rate.

ReCO2  – temperature

The control of the recirculation damper can be set for cooling sequence, heating sequence or both, and to work prior to post heating/cooling control orafter post heating/cooling control (see section Adjustment).

ReCO2 – CO2/VOC and temperature

The control can be set to control air quality and temperature at the same time.If the air quality or the temperature will be dominant depends on which one ofthem requires the largest amount of outdoor air flow.

The Heating Boost and Cooling Boost functions can be activated if increasedsupply airflow for a heating or cooling load is required.
