Mounting sleeve
FUNCTION
A quick release mounting sleeve. Designed to fit both circular ducts and fittings. The mounting sleeve is used when there is a need for quick removal of products for service.

DESIGN
The sleeve consists of a rolled steel sheet with heavy duty rubber seal on the inside. To fix it in position around the connection units there are two adjustable quick locks.
MATERIAL AND SURFACE TREATMENT
The sleeve is made of galvanised sheet steel. The rubber seal is made of polythene without flame-retardants.
PLANNING
The distance between the two ducts ends should be made so that the item can be removed without interfering with the finished ducting. The sleeve will cover and seal the gap. As one end of the item is pushed into the duct, there is only the need for one sleeve per item. The suspension of the ductwork should be planned so that the item can be removed without weakening the duct system. The sleeve should not be exposed to heat in excess of 60°C.

MAINTENANCE
The sleeve can be cleaned when necessary using lukewarm water and detergent
