New GOLD-size for unbeatable flexibility

The GOLD units are complete air handling units with a built-in control system and directly driven supply and exhaust air fans, supply and exhaust air filters and rotary heat exchangers offering a temperature efficiency of upto 85% which is certified by Eurovent. The GOLD range includes units for air volume flows of up to 9.1m³/s. 

The new GOLD size 12 increases the potential to obtain exactly the desired airflow and optimise performance for the best possible energy efficiency. The three versions – GOLD 12 RX with rotary heat exchanger, GOLD 12 PX with plate heat exchanger and GOLD 12 RX top with rotary heat exchanger – do not require a lot of space in the plant room. The Top version is especially compact with its top connections and takes up a small floor area.

“With a large number of duct connection options, the routing of the ductwork is made both easier and cheaper. In addition, the pressure loss gets minimised contributing to a decreased use of fan-energy,” states Nils Spetz, product manager for air handling units at Swegon. GOLD 12 can be divided into three parts which simplifies transport and installation on site and makes GOLD 12 a suitable unit for renovation and refurbishment. GOLD 12 enables an maximum airflow of 1.30 m3/s.

As a standard the entire GOLD-range has built-in IQnomic control equipment which regulates pressures, airflows, temperatures, energy recovery and operating periods. “Furthermore, GOLD can be connected to most communication systems on the market and to conventional Building Management Systems. This can in turn act on all the parameters influenced by GOLD without problem”, says Nils Spetz.
